This course will touch on a variety of topics meant to get you comfortable with basic surgical guides. Here are some of the things we cover:
– Obtaining good records with instruction on intraoral scanning (I use the Trios) and tips to get better CBCTs.
– Aligning STL files to set up for planning implant placement (we use Blue Sky Plan…free software).
– Learn to make a tooth-supported guide as well as an edentulous guide.
– Tips on 3D printing in-house, cleaning, and curing
– Finishing the surgical guide so you are ready to go.
